Fresh Choice (Part 3 of 4)

Updated: Aug 28, 2023

Do you make good healthy choices for your body? God gave you one amazing body...do you take care of it?! Do you eat healthy food? Drink plenty of water? Get good sleep? Participate in some form of exercise? If not...it's not too late! Get started right away! You will feel so much better and you will function in life better if you treat your body like the gift that it is!

When I've gotten very sick or very injured in some way, it has really helped me to realize how much I count on my health and well being! It's hard to not take feeling good for granted, but as soon as you have your health compromised, boy do you figure out quick how important a healthy body is!

I've learned to really make a conscious effort to make good choices with all of the things I listed above. When I don't eat healthy, drink water, exercise and get good sleep, I really suffer. I find if I schedule things in or get into a good routine, it's much easier to accomplish these things. I am also mindful when I go shopping for food. I choose wisely. I choose valuable food, with lots of vitamins and nutritional benefits. Now, don't get me wrong...I also allow myself a treat or two! But I save those for the weekend! It gives me something to look forward to! And even then...I don't go too crazy...just enough to not feel deprived.

Also, it's important to not do damaging things to your body. Make a good choice to wear sunscreen when you go outside. Don't smoke!! Don't do drugs!! BAD CHOICES!! Don't drink alcohol to excess!! I love wine, but I know my limit! Make good choices about what goes into that precious, one and only body of yours!

Show God how grateful you are to Him for blessing you with a thriving, healthy body by taking the best care of it that you can!

About Me

_F2A9653_edited.jpg

I’m Lori Balderas, I created this podcast for those who are converting, reverting or simply want a FRESH perspective of the Catholic faith to help them to open their hearts and minds to become closer to the love and goodness of Christ.

I converted to Catholicism at the age of 49.  It was, by far, the best decision I’ve ever made! I don’t claim to be an expert or Theologian, but what I DO know is that my heart is bursting with love for the Lord and I want others to feel the same way!

I feel impassioned and drawn to Evangelize people by sharing my experiences and transformation that have gotten me where I am today.

I will be sharing my personal conversion story and speaking with others about theirs.
